Service descriptions on our website are general in nature. Actual services provided will be detailed in your written estimate or contract. All work is performed in accordance with local building codes and regulations.

Estimates and Pricing

We provide free estimates for deck projects. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date provided. Prices may change after that period due to material cost fluctuations or other factors. Final pricing will be confirmed in your written contract before work begins.

Additional costs may arise if we encounter unexpected conditions during construction, such as hidden damage, soil issues, or the need for additional structural support. We will notify you of any additional costs before proceeding with extra work.

Payment Terms

Payment terms will be outlined in your project contract. Typically, we require a deposit before work begins, progress payments during construction, and final payment upon completion. We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards.

If payment is not received according to the agreed schedule, we reserve the right to stop work until payment is made. Late payments may be subject to interest charges as allowed by Connecticut law.

We provide estimated completion dates for all projects. While we strive to meet these timelines, delays can occur due to weather, material availability, permit processing, or other factors beyond our control. We will keep you informed of any delays and work to minimize their impact on your project.

Warranties and Guarantees

We stand behind our workmanship. Specific warranty terms will be provided in your project contract. Material warranties are provided by the manufacturers and are separate from our workmanship warranty.

Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, lack of maintenance, natural disasters, or unauthorized modifications to our work.

Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for providing clear access to the work area, securing pets, and informing us of any underground utilities or other hazards on your property. You must obtain any homeowner association approvals required for your project before we begin work.

Regular maintenance is required to keep your deck in good condition. Failure to maintain your deck according to manufacturer recommendations may void material warranties.

Cancellations and Changes

If you need to cancel or postpone your project, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellation fees may apply if materials have been ordered or work has already begun. Change orders during construction must be approved in writing and may affect project cost and timeline.

Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the cost of the services provided. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. This includes but is not limited to loss of use, inconvenience, or property value changes.

Disputes and Governing Law

These terms are governed by Connecticut law. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Fairfield County, Connecticut. Before pursuing legal action, we encourage you to contact us directly to resolve any issues.
